Inspired by the colours of Lake Wakatipu, the lobby blends crystal and silver to create a sparkling, unforgettable interior.
Having completed the refurbishment of Penthouse No. 10 and the 1789 Jazz & Lounge Bar the previous year, Rilean enjoyed the challenge of this project. The plush and out-of-the-ordinary materials required craftsmanship and a high attention to detail that resulted in a superb outcome.
The piece-de-resistance is the sweeping staircase encrusted in tiny, mirrored tiles and a gold balustrade, which brings resplendent glitter and light, beautifully juxtaposed against the warm wood of the traditional parquet.
