Gary Dent 

Gary has over 35 years’ of experience in the industry, starting as a carpentry apprentice in 1976. After working in Wellington for many years on a range of construction projects from high rises to bridges and residential homes, Gary started Rilean Construction South Island in Queenstown in 1994 with Stephen McLean.

Gary is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of operations by programming in jobs with project managers, managing sub-contractors to ensure all projects run smoothly and to plan.

Steven Dent 

Steve gained first-hand experience in the construction industry at an early age, helping out Dad Gary Dent after school and at weekends.  After completing a carpentry apprenticeship, he dedicated his services to Rilean.  His skills lie in project management, particularly providing excellent service to the client.  He visits numerous sites daily to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.

Being the GM Steve is also responsible for marketing, administration and HR and the well-being of the team.

Steve is particularly proud of the relationships he has built with well satisfied clients ensuring referrals and repeat projects.

Trevor Meikle  

Trevor's extensive experience started when he worked on the iconic O'Connell's Mall building in 1986, after training as a carpentry apprentice.  With more years 'under his belt', he now oversees Rilean's projects.

Trevor has a wealth of experience in project management - from initial plans to the final build.  His expertise in construction,  programming and communication ensures each project meets the client expectations.
