Walter Peak BBQ & Pergola

The new exterior Pergola and BBQ structure is the final phase in the reconfiguration and upgrading of the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant at the Walter Peak High Country Farm. The new Pergola structure sits on the Lakeside terrace of the Homestead and features a fully automated Louvre Roof and clear roll down sides which combine to maintain the feel and views of the open sunny terrace whilst providing control and certainty of warmth, and wind protection, during those cooler periods. At one end of the Structure is a feature fireplace and at the other is the new BBQ Kitchen centred around the Parilla styled open BBQ where you can watch the Chefs cook your succulent BBQ meat. The modern structure fits very well against, and compliments, the Homestead building and was constructed in a tight timeframe in order to be ready for the busy Summer season.
