McLean House - Lakeside Estate

Award winning Architect, Haden Emslie, designed this new home for Rilean Construction Director, Stephen McLean and his wife Tracy.

The home is situated on a large 4008m2 site with extensive 360 degree views of Lake Wakatipu, across to Cecil Peak, and around to the amazing Remarkables Mountains behind. The home is predominantly single level but has a bedroom and bunkroom above the garage. The home is clad in vertical cedar shiplap, has some stonework around a feature fireplace, and a series of mono-pitch Dimond 400 longrun roofs. Extensive use of North facing glass makes the most of the views and of the warming all day sun.

Completion Date: February 2011
