Haast River Lodge

The existing Lodge in Haast has been purchased by new owners who want to utilize the great location, and spare land, to develop a Campervan Park to enhance the property and capture some of the passing Campervan traffic.

Rilean were approached to develop the Campervan Park and using relationships with Ed Elliott Architecture and Fulton Hogan came up with an exciting concept to redevelop the existing Helicopter Hanger into an Amenities Building and meld the Campervan parks into and around the Lodge carpark and landscape. Although the legendary Haast weather was a challenge, the completed Haast River Top 10 Holiday Park was unveiled on time in June 2011.
